Northern Region Learning Forum

The Northern Regional Learning forum is a platform that brings WASH stakeholders from Lango and Acholi sub-regions together once a year to learn from each other. The forum is organised CSOs from the North and National level, the Technical Support Unit 2 and the District Local Governments from the North. The forum aims:
  • To strengthen the WASH dialogue
  • To strengthen the WASH Alliance in the Northern Region
  • To boost the uptake of good WASH practices in the region 
The 1st learning forum aimed at "Enhancing Community Participation in O&M of rural water supply Systems” The overall aim  was to provide a regional-level learning platform for sharing and analyzing good WASH experience and practices among the sector actors in the TSU2 region in Uganda, and stimulate follow-up activities/products and capacity building for scaling up. 
The second learning forum focused on challenges in the northern region  with the theme“Enhancing Community Participation in O&M of rural water supply and sanitation Systems”
