Rwenzori learning forum
The RWA was formed in 2010. The RWA and its partners comprises of; Triple-S, PROTOS, SNV, HEWASA and JESE, Catholic Relief Services, Uganda Water and Sanitation NGO (UWASNET), Technical Support Unit 6,Kabarole District local government and NETWAS Uganda. Membership to this alliance is open to all key WASH stakeholders including District Local Governments (DLGs) and learning institutions. The key purpose for the RWA is coordination, joint action, learning, and mobilisation of resources for WASH programs in the region while ensuring common voice and advocacy. Currently the Alliance is being funded by Dutch WASH Alliance.
VISION: All people in the Rwenzori region enjoy their right and freedom to sustainable access to adequate safe drinking water, sanitation and hygienic living conditions so as to contribute to their improved health status and dignity
MISSION:To empower people, both in rural and peri-urban areas, through integrated and sustainable WASH programmes that respond to people’s needs and have respect for the environment.
